Ty guys!Posted on William StephensTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a great experience with Thomas Home Services. They repaired my Sub-Zero wine cooler, which I use to store water bottles, and had it working properly in about an hour. The technician was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient throughout the entire service call. I especially appreciate that they honored my veteran’s discount, which shows they value and respect those who have served. It’s refreshing to work with a company that provides excellent customer service and stands behind its commitments. I highly recommend Thomas Home Services to anyone needing appliance repairs. Fast, professional service and a job well done. Thank you!Posted on Rodney SandsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Good work on time and knew what the problem was.Posted on Thomas GoodfellowTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently moved from Fountain Hills AZ to Buckeye AZ. My refrigerator was also moved with my possessions, and when unloaded I plugged it in. It worked for about an hour then quit. The GFCI would get tripped and shut off power to the fridge. If reset it and it would either run for a number of hours, or would immediately trip and cut off power to the fridge again. I called Thomas Plumbing and they had me scheduled for a two hour window appointment the very next day. They advised me that their technician Delphi would be my technician. I was surprised to see that Delphi made it in the appointment window. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable. She did all the diagnostics on the fridge and explained that it would draw a lot of amps when starting the compressor. She also verified that when it was operating that all systems were good. Delphi reviewed the owners manual for the fridge and confirmed that the manufacturer specified that the fridge should be on a dedicated power source, with no GFCI in the line because when starting up, and re starting the compressor to maintain the cooler temps inside the fridge the high amps could trick the GFCI into thinking there was a short causing it to trip and shut off power to the fridge until it was reset again. It was an easy fix, simply remove the existing GFCI and replace it with a conventional outlet with ground. ( this outlet was on a dedicated circuit and no other wiring concerns were present ) If there were more than one outlets on this circuit then I would have called an electrician to complete the job. Thomas is lucky to have a technician that truly knows her stuff, and took the extra mile to make sure she came up with the correct diagnosis and resolve for my concerns. Since I had the outlet needed in my tool box, I was able to replace the GFCI with a conventional outlet in about 15 minutes. And now the fridge has been performing as it should with no interruptions since the outlet was changed. Our Air Duct Cleaning Process
At Thomas Home Services, we follow a thorough and effective process for cleaning air ducts:
Inspection: Our team starts by inspecting your ductwork to assess the level of buildup and identify any issues such as leaks or damage.
Cleaning: We use specialized equipment to remove dust, dirt, and debris from your ducts, paying close attention to every vent and ductwork component.
Sanitizing: For homes dealing with mold or bacteria growth, we offer sanitizing services to kill harmful microbes and prevent future contamination.
Final Inspection: After cleaning, we’ll inspect the system again to ensure it’s free of debris and functioning properly.
Why You Need Air Duct Cleaning
Over time, your home’s air ducts can accumulate dust, allergens, pet dander, and other contaminants that circulate throughout your living space. This buildup can reduce the efficiency of your HVAC system and negatively impact the air quality inside your home. Regular air duct cleaning helps:
Improve Air Quality: Dust and allergens can trigger respiratory issues, especially for those with allergies or asthma. Clean air ducts lead to fresher, healthier air for you and your family.
Boost HVAC Efficiency: Blocked air ducts force your HVAC system to work harder, leading to higher energy bills. Clean ducts allow for better airflow, helping your system run more efficiently.
Extend System Lifespan: When your HVAC system doesn’t have to overwork due to clogged ducts, it lasts longer and requires fewer repairs.
Reduce Odors: Lingering odors from cooking, pets, and even cleaning products can settle in your air ducts, circulating throughout your home. Cleaning your ducts helps eliminate these unpleasant smells.
Our Dryer Vent Cleaning Process
Our Dryer Vent Cleaning Process
We take dryer vent cleaning seriously, using specialized tools to ensure your vents are thoroughly cleaned and free from lint buildup:
Inspection: Our technicians inspect your dryer vent system for blockages, kinks, or damage.
Cleaning: We use powerful vacuums and brushes to remove lint and debris from the entire length of the vent, from the dryer to the exterior vent cap.
Reassembly and Testing: After cleaning, we reassemble the vent system and test the dryer to ensure proper airflow and functionality.
Safety Check: We’ll also check the vent cap and connections to ensure everything is properly secured and functioning safely.
Benefits of Regular Dryer Vent Cleaning
Your dryer vent plays a critical role in safely venting hot air and moisture outside your home. However, lint and debris can accumulate in the vent over time, creating a serious fire hazard. In fact, clogged dryer vents are one of the leading causes of house fires. Regular dryer vent cleaning offers several benefits:
Fire Prevention: Lint buildup is highly flammable and can easily ignite when exposed to the heat of your dryer. Cleaning your vent reduces this risk significantly.
Improved Dryer Efficiency: A clogged dryer vent forces your dryer to work harder, which increases drying time and energy usage. Cleaning the vent allows your dryer to run more efficiently, saving time and reducing energy costs.
Extend Dryer Lifespan: Just like your HVAC system, a dryer that doesn’t have to overwork due to blockages will last longer and require fewer repairs.
Signs You Need Air Duct or Dryer Vent Cleaning
Not sure if it’s time for a cleaning? Here are some common signs that you may need professional air duct cleaning or dryer vent cleaning:
Increased Dust: If you notice excessive dust settling in your home, it could be a sign that your air ducts are circulating dust and debris.
Musty Odors: Musty or unpleasant odors coming from your vents could indicate mold or mildew growth inside your ductwork or dryer vent.
Longer Drying Times: If your clothes are taking longer than usual to dry, it may be due to a clogged dryer vent restricting airflow.
Rising Energy Bills: When your HVAC system or dryer has to work harder due to blockages, it uses more energy, leading to higher utility bills.
Frequent Allergy Symptoms: If you or your family members experience allergy-like symptoms, such as coughing or sneezing, poor indoor air quality from dirty air ducts may be to blame.
How Often Should You Schedule Air Duct and Dryer Vent Cleaning?
To maintain optimal indoor air quality and reduce fire risks, it’s recommended to schedule air duct cleaning every 3-5 years, depending on factors like pets, smoking, or recent renovations. Dryer vent cleaning should be done annually, or more frequently if you notice signs of blockage.
