The technician was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient throughout the entire service call. I especially appreciate that they honored my veteran’s discount, which shows they value and respect those who have served. It’s refreshing to work with a company that provides excellent customer service and stands behind its commitments. I highly recommend Thomas Home Services to anyone needing appliance repairs. Fast, professional service and a job well done. Thank you!Posted on Rodney SandsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Good work on time and knew what the problem was.Posted on Thomas GoodfellowTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently moved from Fountain Hills AZ to Buckeye AZ. My refrigerator was also moved with my possessions, and when unloaded I plugged it in. It worked for about an hour then quit. The GFCI would get tripped and shut off power to the fridge. If reset it and it would either run for a number of hours, or would immediately trip and cut off power to the fridge again. I called Thomas Plumbing and they had me scheduled for a two hour window appointment the very next day. They advised me that their technician Delphi would be my technician. I was surprised to see that Delphi made it in the appointment window. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable. She did all the diagnostics on the fridge and explained that it would draw a lot of amps when starting the compressor. She also verified that when it was operating that all systems were good. Delphi reviewed the owners manual for the fridge and confirmed that the manufacturer specified that the fridge should be on a dedicated power source, with no GFCI in the line because when starting up, and re starting the compressor to maintain the cooler temps inside the fridge the high amps could trick the GFCI into thinking there was a short causing it to trip and shut off power to the fridge until it was reset again. It was an easy fix, simply remove the existing GFCI and replace it with a conventional outlet with ground. ( this outlet was on a dedicated circuit and no other wiring concerns were present ) If there were more than one outlets on this circuit then I would have called an electrician to complete the job. Thomas is lucky to have a technician that truly knows her stuff, and took the extra mile to make sure she came up with the correct diagnosis and resolve for my concerns. Since I had the outlet needed in my tool box, I was able to replace the GFCI with a conventional outlet in about 15 minutes. And now the fridge has been performing as it should with no interruptions since the outlet was changed. Water Softeners: Protect Your Home and Improve Comfort
Hard water contains minerals like calcium and magnesium that can leave buildup in your plumbing and on your fixtures. Over time, this can reduce water flow, cause spots on dishes and sinks, and shorten the life of appliances like dishwashers, washing machines, and water heaters.
A water softener removes these minerals so you can enjoy:
- Softer water for bathing, washing, and cleaning
- Longer-lasting appliances and plumbing
- Fewer spots and residue on dishes, sinks, and showers
- Improved efficiency for water heaters and appliances
Our technicians will test your water to determine the right system for your home. We handle professional installation, making sure your water softener runs smoothly and efficiently.
Reverse Osmosis (RO) Systems: Clean, Safe Drinking Water
If you want high-quality drinking water straight from your tap, a reverse osmosis system is the solution. RO systems remove contaminants like chlorine, sediment, and other impurities, improving taste, odor, and overall safety.
Benefits of an RO system include:
- Cleaner, better-tasting drinking water
- Reduced need for bottled water
- Protection against contaminants in tap water
- Convenient, point-of-use water directly from your sink
We install under-sink RO systems as well as larger setups for whole-house needs. Every system is tested for proper operation, so you can enjoy safe drinking water without worrying about leaks or malfunctions.
Choosing the Right Water Treatment System
Every home is different, and water quality can vary widely even within the same neighborhood. Our team evaluates your water to help you select the right system for your needs.
Factors we consider include:
- Water hardness levels
- Contaminants present in drinking water
- Household size and water usage
- Existing plumbing and space for installation
Once we recommend a system, we handle the full installation process, including setup, testing, and instructions on how to maintain it.
Common Problems We Solve
We help homeowners with a wide range of water-related issues, including:
- Hard water causing spots and scale buildup
- Appliances failing or wearing out faster due to minerals
- Drinking water with poor taste or odor
- Low water pressure caused by mineral deposits
- Reverse osmosis systems needing filter changes or repair
No matter the problem, we find the right solution and make sure it works properly.
